Private Equity

Capital raising has never been more popular than in the last few years. In particular, private equity investors are almost invariably attracted to firms that find traditional financing difficult to arrange.  Its popularity and the increased trend of entrepreneurship globally, has seen an uptick in provision of legal advisory services to clients seeking to either source funds or invest.

Our team has advised both investors and investee companies raising capital, to optimally structure their transactions as permitted under extant law and with due consideration for the commercial aspects. Our experience covers debt, equity and hybrid financing structures, collective investment schemes, infrastructure project financing, to name a few.

We recognise that private equity and venture capital, for early-stage investments, are an essential approach to bridging the funding gap that is much needed to actualise innovation and business growth, and appreciate walking our clients through the process.
